Ok, so this is a really exciting update. I have now created the in game shop. The in game shop will allow you to create products for your game. Your players will then be presented with a button overlaying your game like below:
When clicking on it, the shop will open:
All payments are made directly to your paypal account, just add your paypal email into your settings and go to your edit game page to create a product. You will be subjected to Paypal's fees like every other transaction through paypal but I do not take any fees for any transaction made in your game shop. You are responsible for your shop and your customers directly. I will look to build tools moving forward that will help in doing this.
You can view your transactions from your profile and there's a testing tool in the docs and more explanation of how everything works here. There is no SDK for the shop to integrate into your game. All you need to do is make a simple call to an API URL and you will be given a true or false answer if the player owns the content or feature your selling. You can then act accordingly in your game like unlocking the full game, DLC or features etc.
As always I've worked hard to get this out in its primitive state, there's lots more work to be done. It also could have issues in its current state too so make sure to let me know if you run into any problems.
I've added an example product to Amoeba Online so you can see it working before giving it a go. It doesn't do anything in game but it is just an example.
